Gravatar I often get a case of "the stares" and then worry, am I becoming autistic? Anyway, I think it's normal. Especially if you have a lot of things swirling around in your brain like so much laundry. Besides, some great movie scenes are of folks staring off on public buses and subways.

Gravatar Hi Katie,
The students are fortunate to have a teacher like you--one who feels the weight of making decisions that affect their lives. It is a heavy burden, I'm sure. I've had to make many decisions as a pastor over the years that were no joy to have to make. That's where you have do the just and right thing, seasoned heavily with grace, and leave the results to God.
Keep up the good work. Love,
Dad

Gravatar Hi Katie, yes, being a teacher is hard. One of the descriptions of Jesus was 'teacher' and your deep love and concern for your kids comes from your sweet heart filled with the love of Jesus and your viewing your teaching as a ministry. No wonder you feel absent minded and stare off into space. Anyone that has truly emptied themselves of self and love as Jesus loved feels the way you do. Your strenght and energy come from God and he is faithful as you know. He will give you the rest, words, and strenght you need to meet these last few days
before you come back to Texas and find out what His plans are for you and Mike in the future. How exciting to be in the center of His will and to have learned so much at such a young age. You and Mike both make me proud and thankful for your commitment to serve the Lord with your lives. I love you both very much. Love, nana
