haha... I thought I'd log onto your site this morning thinking "hmm... I bet since Katie was gone Mike posted something new." Yep. I was right.
I think you may be onto something as far as the Bible study thing goes. To add to it... I think people like us who share similar interests in media (music, reading, film) tend to probably be better at this because they get more practice. For instance, maybe someone doesn't read very many books at all, but if they read enough album reviews in magazines and on the internet, they're certainly learning about comparison. This is probably even more true with film. So when they finally do pick up a book, they're already somewhat conditioned to this type of thinking.
Anyways, just a thought.
