Hi Mike and Katie... pardon the very random intrusion, but in google'ing Evergreen Community church, your blog popped up, so I stayed and read a tiny bit. It sounds like perhaps you're new to Portland? Welcome. A few of the things in your blog caught my eye so I thought I'd say hi (and since I couldn't find an e-mail link to you, it's a comment on a post)... On the off chance that it's of interest in Katie's job hunt, I work for a small Christian college here in town and we will soon be hiring someone to work in our business office with student accounts. We may have other positions available, but that's the only one I know of off the top of my head...

also, you should see if Communities in Schools has anything going on in Portland. (I'm not sure.) Great teaching opportunity and a chance to advocate for at-risk youth.

Wow, that's awesome Mike. I played the job searching game last year and hated it, and so I know how this must be a God thing.
