Somebody borrowed my copy of "Prayer and the Art of Volkswagon Maintenance" and never returned it. Now, it's out of print (and like $50 bucks on eBay), so if you see it at his bookstore, grab me a copy, wouldja? I guess his new one will have to do for now.
And, Derek Webb's live CD called "The House Show" is excellent. He talks too much, but the music's great.

when kendra and i went on vacation to portland, we spent 2/3 of our time in powell's. it was english lit. major heaven. i (and i'm sure kendra would do the same) recommend spending hours upon hours with katie in the cafe reading books and sipping on the free cold water. portland is great; if we can't live there, we can at least live vicariously through your blog.

hey hey....
WHAT??!? blogging isn't a form of sex? i guess my Save Blogging Till Marriage campaign is going to be off the tracks.
Glad you guys found Powells. That place has the killer haps, i remember getting lost (literally, had to ask for directions) in the artist biographies section.
Thanks for the heads-up on Miller's new one. sounds like a keeper. I'm out for now. Oh, Budapest was tons of fun. Our blog will have the local sights.

Yeah, Miller's book is getting better and better.
I would like to see this Powell's place. Don't be surprised if Jeff and I "pop" in again... heh heh. I've never been to Portland...
