In Texas Hold 'Em, never try to hit a straight waiting on the turn or the river, and if you're holding pocket 10's, it's usually best to check and see if you get another 10 on the flop. If not, fold. At least that's what I've learned from watching ESPN.

Chasing pocket 10's or Aces or whatever are a good way to win a small pot or lose a big one.

Texas Hold Em'....all of a sudden is the hottest thing around! The high school kids at camp this summer taught me how to play. I'm not very good. But, playing with betting chips made me feel really "cool". Have fun.

Hey, I love Powell's. In my former life I had to do 3-4 trips a year out to Portland and that is where I spent many an evening. Dinner at Jakes and then browsing stacks at Powell's
