How sad that even a begrudging nod to the Republican point-of-view is so "newsworthy."

Personally, I think it would've been much funnier had they left out all the caveats. For example, they just didn't have the guts to say that democrats blocked needed legislation without adding, " ... and some Republicans."

But then, for SNL, I guess this qualifies as cutting-edge satire.
