Congratulations, Rycamor!

Psalm 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them...

Gravatar Good job, Rycamor! Can't wait for the sleep-deprived Friday Challenge entries!

Gravatar Congratulations to both of you!!!!

Hope Mrs. Rycamore is resting and comfortable. What do your other childing think of their new sister?

Gravatar Congratz!! God bless you and your family.

Gravatar Thanks everybody. Yes, with 3, I can now say I have a small quiver-full. 2 didn't quite seem to qualify.

To answer everyone's questions in advance and... um retreat:

name: Rycamorina---I mean Caroline Emilie
weight: 7 lb, 11 oz.
height: 20.5"
completes next step in sequence of: girl-boy-girl
APGAR score: *ok dear*, I'll stop there

Mrs. ~brb, the other two are quite OK with the whole thing, especially our 8-year-old daughter, who I believe I can quote as saying "I hope she throws up 8 times a day so I can change her clothes!", while our 3-year-old son promises "I'll show her my 'kawate' moves."

Gravatar Congrats.

I wish you all well.

DD

Gravatar "(name? size? weight?)"

Jeez. Next thing your gonna ask her age... Oh. Right.

I'll show her my 'kawate' moves.

Boy is he going to be disappointed until he's old enough to use them to help you scare off suitors. Anyway, don't mean to scare you... congrats and God bless, Rycamor.

Gravatar Testing. Testing. This is how italics work.

Gravatar Good. Figured it out. Sorry for hijacking. Again... congrats.

Gravatar We will, of course, expect to see photos when you come back to the office in three weeks...

Congratulations. You are blessed indeed.

Gravatar Way to go Rycamor! I hope mom and baby girl are happy and healthy.

Gravatar I'm envious, rycamour. While I desperately wanted my first child to be a boy (it's an only son of an only son whose three sisters produced seven daughters and no sons sort of thing), I would have dearly loved to have a daughter, too. Congratulations, yet again.

Gravatar And yes, I was ably assisted by my wife, while I took on the arduous job of saying "You're doing great, Babe... deep breath now...", while trying not to make it too obvious when I wiped off the occasional tear with my sleeves.

As always, I stand in awe of what mothers go through.
