The groups you went to sound a lot like the ones in Wisconsin as well.

I love you!! I was really struck by your thought. This is exactly my problem. My transition is sooooo slow but I am a genuine woman! I still look to outsiders like a drab sad boy, I have no money to pay for the electrolysis but thank Cybele my insurance covered the hormones in full.
I do envy the pretty little crossdressers but i suppose every middle aged woman has her own petty jealousies. I do so love your writing. I hope you keep up.

Hi there!
You are echoing so many of the truths that I have found in the support groups and the CD culture in general. I was invited to contribute to; http://genderevolve.blogspot.com/
I posted an article entitled, "My TS view of a CD". It recieved a lot of attention and the owner of the blog did not like my views so she booted me. She believes that we should all unite as one group without labels. She is trying to bring acceptance and understanding to the culture. But I realize that it only extends to her idea of equality. Too bad. As you know from reading my blog, I do not hate lables and I am certainly not a CD. This is real life for me and not playtime. I am not a girl behind the security of closed curtains and locked doors, or the relative safety of gay bars. I am on the frontline of public exposure. I do not have the luxury of changing gender whenever it suites me. I will always be a friend to the community but I will also put any CD in his place if he tries to tell me how to be a girl.
