save Slim's soul? Haven't they bury his body yet? If they did, there will not be a body for the soul to go back to anymore, will there?

Yes, Slims body has been buried ... the soul does not reside in the body now, Eddie and Jim think Slim is destined for hell.
(as per chapter 17
"Everyone had known that Slim and Bob were gay lovers. Eddie was convinced that was why God had let the demons carry Slim's soul away. Jim was pretty convinced it was true too")

But, I think in the re-write I need to make it a little clearer that Eddie and Jim believe Slim is destined for Hell ... that's why Eddie is so adamant about saving Slim ... it's sort of importatn to the plot. lol Baka Dabido.

So thanks for catching that.

Anyway, lots more writing to do to get to the end of the novel. lol Though I am over half way in the NaNoWriMo word count, I think the novel will be a lot longer.
