I think my fave part of the film was when Orked took her bags, ready to leave altho her husband did as was told (confronted the nim-wit Latifah and called her a piece of meat) and said, something to the effect of, promises are meant to broken. It was such a relieving act of hers. For the longest time I really thot she was gonna stay with the bugger but she didn't. Hooray!
Hi nenek, yeah. Actually the heart just breaks when she uttered the last line... that Jason didn't manage to keep his promise too... awww....
and Arif the husband, don't you wish that Orked could have taught him another lesson when the phone rang just as she was about to leave? But alas, she has given up any hope of reconciliation, so why bother

I think Orked can forgive Jason because he is, sad to said, dead and because she was naive and it was her 1st love.
But Latifah said they (she and Arif) had sex 8 times (can't think people actually count that) and Arif is by all means is a husband, a man who legally can and should protects her, well, what normal, young and modern couple would do? Tiada maaf bagimu would be the best answer to that. Like she said, this is a modern time, people don't believe in perkara remeh temeh like keeping promises.

Hi Bazi, well that depends on whether you're on the camp who resigned to the fate the Jason is gone after Sepet... or belong to the camp that, no! That didn't happen, and this scene will bring about some justification for that!
Yasmin Ahmad will tell you that she simply wants to see both on them in bed
