I dont know why ... I am beginning to enjoy his films more n more ... the last one being Time and now Breath ...

when I watched it, it was a slow Thursday where there isn't much to do

It was rather easy for me to get swept away by the show ... there are quite a few meanings for us to decide on our own but I thought it's great that Kim could just Dian Dao Wei Zhi (touch till a certain point) and let us continue the journey

Some concepts that I thought was great in this ... ability to relate to someone ... the different aspect of love / jealousy and facing death .... I'm not saying that I got it all but it's a great film to think about both during and after the film.

I also liked the characters in this film ... The lead character might be a bit quirky her behaviour but I believe sometimes, when people are really upset, stress or sad, they tend to do things differently ... in a way, she is breaking out of normalcy which in her case actually sucked for her as her hubby cheated on her so openly

Chang Chen as again gave an intense performance and I don't feel that it was a cop out to overcome the barrier ... I thought it was a great idea and perhaps his character was meant to be silent all the way so Kim could cast Chang Chen in it without too much unnecessary problem with language ... nevertheless, his performance here is impressive, conveying that sense of Wu Nia (helplessness) It interesting that nothing was made of the crime that he is guilty of ... staying silent all the way, maybe he is innocent? why did he attempt the first two suicides ?

the other character, even the small minor ones that we don't get to see, speaks volume in their respective roles in this film. Such as the prison warden who although remain hidden, seems to understand the thoughts of Housewife Yeon. In a way, it seems that he had achieved a higher sense of understanding

maybe I'm a Chang Chen fan who find that he can do no wrong in films that he is in .... or maybe I am selling out against the masses but Breath is really Good and not a Time Waster as you put it

Gravatar you should have put ur review on ur own blog lah, instead of relegating it to a comment here

anytime Time I enjoyed, but not this one... which seemed to be more of its working around its constraints being put on its sleeve.

and yup, I think you're a Chang Chen fan, so you're more forgiving in the movies he stars in? No doubt he's a great actor though
