Yeah I too found it dumb that they just sticked to the same hand signal.
And also I thought the ending was way too predictable.
But despite its flaws it was still fairly enjoyable, and I did like the like the conditional probability puzzle in the beginning.

haha, yup it's a hollywood movie after all, so formula and dumbing it down for an audience is a must.
the puzzle makes you think, doesn't it? :D

Actually I first read about the puzzle in this book (curious incident of the dog in the night).
It got me confused cos it seems like a 50% chance no matter how I see it, but yeah after actually working it out I see why its 66.6% if you switch. Interesting stuff.

yup... I came across a pictorial exercise which worked and reasoned it out pretty well.
next time if i get on Deal or No Deal, I know what to do LOL
