You know, the tart looks great the way it is. The fact that it's not perfect makes it look more delicious somehow, like you can just start biting into it without worrying about messing it up.
Fluffycat It's just the perfectionist in me. Everyone assures me that it tastes and smells great.
I'm definitely guilty of screwing up dishes when I'm impatient. Still looks good, though!
Excuse me, but recipes please! Please?! With a martini on top?
Also, I wish I knew of that book back when I was actually a caregiver. An anorexic caregiver because although I was making sure he ate and was healthy, I didn't eat and was sickly.
Carrie I thought it looked messed up. The folks at work thought it looked just fine. Especially since once I unwrapped it, all you could smell were the berries. One of the guys was completely shocked that I had made it.
Catheroo I'd gladly give you the recipe to the casserole but I kind of made it up as I went along. That means there was minimal measuring going on. The tart is a variation on a recipe from a Williams Sonoma cookbook. That I'll send to you when I'm through with the dogsitting.

Camels & Chocolate It did get eaten. And it was already in San Francisco since I actually work in San Francisco. There will be more treats next week though...
