My accent came out to be Northeast and then North inland,which makes sense since I ave always lived here. But people always think I;m from the south somewhere.

Cookiecrumb I had an English teacher in high school who kept trying to figure out where I was from. I kept telling her, "I'm a native." She then said that some of my vowels sounded Eastern. I asked, "Virginia?" When she said that was it, I explained that my mother hails from Virginia. And when I'm around Southerners, I slip into full Virginian.
Mistress Maddie I just think that you're a Southerner at heart. I bet you'd fit right in somewhere like Charleston or Savannah. Or maybe even Nashville.
