I've written numerous letters, signed the petition, sent emails to the AAR brass and posted on blogs re the questionable wisdom of letting Marc Maron's contract lapse. Maron is a treasure. He's one of the most compelling reasons to listen to AAR. They should be promoting and expanding his role rather than diminishing or dismissing it. You often read about how poorly AAR is managed. I'd like to write off such criticism as right-wing BS. But when AAR makes bnonehead moves like this, it makes one wonder.
