And JPII and his curial sycophants still won't call suicide bombing what it is -- genocide -- for fear of upsetting the Palestinians in whose territory the holy sites lay. What I said on another blog bears repeating here: JPII is to Nablus (and Mecca) what Petain was to Berlin.
I won't defend the Vatican's (yes, the lot) stance on this. It has tilted toward the Palestinians, and each member will have to account for it.
