Dale, what does that statement say about the fundamental ignorance many clerical and episcopal leaders in the Church have about Christ? Perhaps the crucifixion scandalizes them, as well?

I think it probably says less about knowledge and more about courage. Not that I'm the ballsiest preacher of Christ and Him Crucified that has ever existed, but I like to think I'm not running from the opportunity of a lifetime. Which too many of them appear to be doing.

Of that, I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever.
