Yes, this dolt did apologize to Pat Tillman's family. Only after national firestorm, however. Brings to mind the remark by Bengals tight end Steve Kreider, a Lehigh U. grad (no athletic scholarships- they all gotta reed reel gud-) on a full Riverfront Stadium on a sub-zero day for their playoff game. He noted that they clearly demonstrated the failure of our public school system.

So, the worm apologized - for what? Did he sincerely regret his words (which would indicate a degree of sophistication lacking in his drivel) or was he trying to play the wimpy victim, being assaulted by "the system" for his brave missive?
Guys like this deserve to be given a chance to demonstrate their patriotism and support for their countrymen. Let's set up a nice little booth in Lower Manhattan with a sign saying "I'm against the stupid war in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the jerks in the military who think they're protecting us." We can have Rene sit there and explain to the families and friends of 9/11 victims how deluded and macho they are. I'm sure they'll all understand and play nice with him. (gleeful smirk....)
That "apology" was no apology, it was a "gee, I'm sure sorry you (probably because you're stupid) were offended" hand job. The pickledick is not sorry -- well, except for being a sorry specimen of a human being.
A Clinton apology (I am sorry that I was caught being absolutely stupid) is no apology, but merely an attempt at deflection, not a fundamental course change. That would require a moral sense, lacking both in BC and this mental midget.
