The mentally ill, physically disabled, and others perceived to have no quality of life and hence a strain on the Third Reich were gassed with zyklon b. It's my understanding that it was amazingly efficient. Surely that's more dignified and quicker than starving someone to death. I wonder what would happen if that was suggested.

It's a mighty slippery slope we're on at this point.
