I don't know what to do about that. It sometimes happens to me, too, but there's no consistent reason why--e.g., 10 minutes later, it won't do it. Do what I do--blame Blogger.

My one conversation with an anti-semite was a conversation I had with an early 20s, hispanic, home-grown Fresnan who was politically liberal and was going through the Urban Studies program at UCLA. I heard dire insinuations about banking and Israel.
I thought it was pretty weird. I mean it's not like there is a huge colony of Jews in Fresno controlling the agricultural based economy of the region. I suspect that this guy had never met a Jew in Fresno. Moreover, its not like there is a seed of historic anti-semitism in Mexican culture. So why the animus?
The obvious answer is the left-wing politics that demonizes Israel and trades in anti-semitism as one of the glues which keeps its various factions together. It's sad to think that just when we should have eliminated that malicious virus of hate from the body politic it metastasizes into a left wing cause.
They are too religious; they are too materialistic,
I don't know how contradictory that is, if you think on it.
If you look at many religions, you can see that case being made, not only against the Jews.

Continuing off-topic: it happened to me too, and what I did was add a few pixels (px) to the blogtitle padding-top in my stylesheet.
