Gotta send this to my mom! My dad had to help my mom when I arrived "too fast" (as the local newspaper article said). Dad's advice to other dads? Make sure you watch the movie in class. (I think it was a refresher course--I'm kid #2--but I imagine a 1975 class is different from today's.)
Mom will never forget that (1) Dad was digging through the linen closet trying to find a sheet that was o.k. to mess up, and (2) when the paramedics showed up (after my arrival), one's hands were shaking. Guess he hadn't seen a minutes old baby before! 
If Jindal wants to help his party (and position himself for that presidential run), he couldn't do much better than come to Virginia and campaign for Sen. Allen's reelection, and hope that his support will undo the harm Allen did to himself by his "macaca" comment directed at an Indian-American supporter of Jim Webb's.
