You know, I think the problem is that much of your fan base, for better or worse, are the kind of slackers who'll read DM, but aren't even going to follow the link to the the Awards.
While I feel a little bad that I didn't vote for you, I'm pretty content overall because I didn't vote.
I wish I could do better in regards to fasting. i hate myself every year because of it. i start off very well and always screw it up. Well, maybe one of these years i can do it the Trad Way! Health problems get in my way, but i could conform enabling the way to fast properly. i feel like Judas at times, LOL

Health is a pretty good argument against it, though. But I know about the tough part, though. Some days are much easier than others.
Why don't you just admit it? You're an evil traditionalist. In fact, you're more of one than I am. My wife is doing a lot of fasting (as much as nursing allows) and she's making ME hungry.
Maybe that's why I'm the fat one.

And I hear you about the hunger issue. Heather and I are debating whether packing the permissible snack for lunch is helpful or actually makes things worse. We're leaning toward the latter at this point.
