Gravatar It was a different close relative of mine who died of brain cancer, but otherwise, Dale, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Gravatar Amen - I've been praying for him already. Actually, now that I think of it, it was brain cancer that killed my grandfather too. I hadn't even made that connection yet.

Gravatar My favorite older sister died from an inoperable brain tumor 17 years ago. I'm praying for Mr Kennedy and his family - for peace, grace and mercy.

Gravatar My prayers to Kennedy and his family.

Gravatar Dear Mr. Price:

I fully agree Teddy Kennedy, like all of us, needs prayers and divine mercy. But I still detest what he has done through out his political career.

We can ony pray for Kennedy to belatedly repent of at least his odious support for abortion.

Sincerely, Sean

Gravatar Spot on, per usual, Dale. Thanks for the post.

Gravatar Excellent comments, and a lot more charitable (sadly) than I've seen elsewhere. Even if one isn't a Kennedy fan in general, that's not to say that, like the rest of us, they don't need or hope for the mercy of God. Humans are sinful -- that's why we pray for God's mercy. I pray for Senator Ted and his family.. They have a very rough road ahead. May GOd strengthen them all.

Gravatar "[T]he legalization of abortion on demand is not in accordance with the value which our civilization places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its earliest stages, has certain rights which must be recognized - the right to be born, the right to love, the right to grow old."

- Senator Edward M. Kennedy, August 3, 1971

He believed it once; he can believe it again.
