As I've noted elsewhere, it's even worse than that. The traditional Chinese pagan belief was that cutting up a dead body hurt the person, and cursed the person's various souls to wander forever and do a lot of harm. There was nothing more disrespectful you could do to someone. There was nothing that would produce more shame and hurt for the person's surviving family.
Even the most atheist or non-pagan Chinese person would be horrified at the idea of cutting up a body and plasticking it. Voluntary donations, my left buttock.
The Chinese government is sick, sick, sick, and we help them torment their people like this....
