321.0 was the best I could do in about 30 minutes of trying. It took me a long time though to get the logic of how to hit it a certain way (I never had any formal training in how to play baseball; my only notion of "timing your swing" was Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers). And I'm still not sure whether mouse placement or holding down the mouse before swinging mattered.
But why was a baseball game set up on an ice hockey page?

Personal best so far: 317.1
Don't go up there hacking. Don't be afraid to take the first penguin. Try to aim as close to the left-hand corner of the screen. If initial trajectory is aimed at the top the the screen, the little guy's probably going to face-plant in the snow.

You just discovered Yeti Sports?
My favorite is the Golf one. You use a flamingo, a la Alice in Wonderland. Loads of fun.
They redid the first (this looks to be the original) so you could control the pitch of the penguin, and he would get some lift from the airstream.

What a mindlessly violent and un-PC game. I love it! 305.3 thus far, but I am improving! Here penguin, here penguin!

My daughter hit a penquin to 316 after only a few attempts.

323.3! The secret appears to be timing the swing so the bat hits the penguin as it reaches just below the head of the Yeti.

Alas, my glacially slow dial-up (yes, dial-up) connection would not permit me to play. I grew up in the South and couldn't give half a happy hoot about hockey. However, the game does sound promising. I suppose in the Pittsburgh version, the penguin beats up the yeti.

I took another crack at it, and this time I was able to play. Personal best: 302.5, and a few more in the high 290s. I whiffed more often than not, however, and hit some pretty pathetic grounders. I guess I'm not much of a contact hitter.

on the third try.
But listen, when the score card falls on the penguin, are we to understand that it has just impaled the poor little guy?

...and the hamster game plays the Ride of the Valkyries when the hamster launches. Can't beat that.
ooo oo...
and sometimes, just for fun, you can launch the hamster straight up into outer space. Make a heck of a hole when he lands too.

317.2 after several attempts.
Not bad.
Thanks for giving me yet another way to waste my time on-line, Dale.

Up to 321. And don't get me started on the whole "Yetis in the Antarctic" thing. Everybody knows that the only Yeti sightings in the world have been in the Himalayas. Completely ruined the game for me.
