Oh, agreed. That was never a problem. Our Dad hates long hair on boys. It's genetic--both his boys do, too. I don't know how many times I've muttered "Cut your hair!" at kids in commercials.
And, in defense of Mom and Dad, they dressed the same way themselves.

Thought you'd like the picture, too! We finally (!) took the Christmas decorations down yesterday, and that picture had somehow gotten into the tree box.
I had to scan it in--couldn't resist. Yeah, it does capture him well, somehow.

We've got a gem of a family photo (circa 1979) in which mother, father, son and daughter are each wearing a different plaid. And we're sitting on a plaid sofa. What exactly was going on in that decade?
