For once, hockey made the afternoon ESPN talk circuit- Rome, Around The Horn- unwatchable except for the world's most obnoxious sports columnist, Jay Mariotti- and PTI. And still, the Sabres-Senators scrum was about third on the list. The NHL has never recovered from The Year of The Lockout. As a sports fan with no reason to follow it this year- the Flyers have sunk to pre-Broad Street Bullies' level- me and my other brethren probably won't return. You may resume your fisticuffs, boys.
It's things like this that make me hate hockey.
It's why I prefer Rugby, where we still have a sense of humor when all around you are losing theirs, while the players are not only rough and tough, but they're also cute and cuddly
I still have an 8x10 pic of The Turtle Lemieux getting whaled on. (Yes, I bought one. I actually bought one.) Want it? It doesn't go with my current decor...and plus, it's happily stored in my memory forever.

BTW, get the Red Wings DVD boxed set--it has the complete 3/26 game on it. Nothing short of awesome.
