He he! No, I couldn't chop it. And even if I wanted to, Dan wouldn't let me. The gal just took the very tips off, which is what I wanted. But hard to get a "curly lock" for the baby book when I'm not willing to cut any off Just that little bit and it looks and feels healthier now.
