This morning i heard Lathams close ally/crony complaining that because of the Tsunami and the media frenzy Latham could not have a full 4 week break, the full 4 weeks, he needs every second of every minute of every hour to recover.

Well we're all sorry the big baby didn't get his sleep, forget the almost 200000 that died, baby needs his sleep, Latham seems to be whining about how the media and the public are not coddling him. I don't remember any understanding or kindness from him when he beat up the taxi driver or called a journalist a skanky ho or when he called a fellow disabled politician a deformed character.

Yesterday's press conference was reminscent of when he tearfully asked the media to leave his family alone, the media first heard about it then, it seems he can dish it out happily, but its not so great when your on the recieving end.

Beazeley may be the best hope for the ALP, if they can stop shafting one another and God forbid unite, i hope they have finally realised that you can't run the country by looking young and hip, posing with buffoons like Bob Brown in romantic settings, running off a few cheesy one liners as a substitute for policy and coddling toddlers on tv.

I don't think they have learnt, and even if they have Mathew, whatever it was that they were doing under Beazley failed too.
