Actually Dread, sorry to break it to you but the Let's Get Equal campaign group in SA put out a media release the same day acknowledging and congratulating Wilson for what he said (http://www.letsgetequal.org.au/news.php) and Blaze mag in Adelaide wrote it up the very next day. It's a positive step that the campaigners in SA who have worked for years to get this Bill up are pleased about because now the state can finally move forward. So no burying or failure to report involved at all, not at the gay rights advocates' end anyway.
