1) Agree with you on this one. It's a freaking video game and they wanted to use his likeness. Get over it, he's dead and has been dead for over 10 years now. They had, what, 4 albums? Corporate America will get you no matter how "counter-culture" you are
2)I never heard Michael Jackson speak much, but other than exploiting their children, it didn't seem like his parents were the brightest colors in the rainbow
3)I need to check that out. There's a few CD's that have come out lately that I've been on the fence about because I don't want to spend $10-$15 on them in iTunes or a the store
4)That is an excellent idea. I LOVE live albums. There's just a different sound/feel on live recordings. It's like you're there when you listen to it and you can hear/feel the passion of the band and the crowd. Maybe Narrow Path's next CD can be a live recording. 
5) I am the praying type and will be sure and remember you. I can't say I've been there yet, but I know I've had family members get to that point before. Just keep strong, buddy. You've been a role model for me and someone I look up to and would hate to see you go down that path. It's scary...
I went through an Ecclesiastes phase. If it's an early 30's thing, I hit mine 10 years late. Had the same 'something's coming' feeling at one point. Actually studying Ecclesiastes helped a lot. I'm praying for ya here.
