Bit of a full court press going on here. First someone gets to Auntie Condo and tells her that it's unseemly to attend a Monty Python revue during the nation's worst national disaster and now they have Dick "Skeletor" Cheney going down for a tour.
That doofus Condo might want to call the office since relief supplies from overseas can't get State Department approval to land. I'm sure Cheney is just down there scouting out no-bid contracts but they do keep up appearences.

One small point: The headset Condi is wearing is not a Bose. I'm an aircraft owner, and I have a Bose headset -- that ain't it. It's most likely a headset manufactured by a company called David Clark; although the color is wrong, the shape of the headset's earcups and the earcup brackets indicates it's a DC product.

Being an Apologetic Apprentice Christian myself, I have no doubt the Lord is coming -- sometime. But I don't think it's likely that Condi, the Dither of Dolts, or the self-anointed Chief of Counterfeit Compassionate Conservative And Oh Yeah By The Way Conspicuously Caucasian Caucus has the right or the power to send Him in as a substitute when they botch their duty to the people.
As I recall, His job description had something to do with saving souls. Saving our skins...well, isn't that what FEMA and DHS were supposed to be doing?
The photograph looks like the enlargement of a picture of a grasshopper head -- not, I think, totally inappropriate.
I didn't think it possible for anyone to look dumber than Mike Dukakis did in that tank, but Condi just took over 1st place. What a maroon!

She looks like a special ed kid who can't take loud noises and has to wear a helmet to keep from hurting herself. She also kind of looks like the really geeky kid all bundled waiting to sit on Santa's knee in A Christmas Story. Wonder what she wants for xmas?
I would have to say, that for a lot of people, the Lord did not come on time.
And please, please tell me that the Federal government was not banking on Jesus to miracle those people out of New Orleans; a sort of faith-based disaster relief policy. I just don't think I could take it.
