Well, at least 1/2 my senate representatives are on board. I've been damned proud of BB for the last few years. She's a great broad (and I mean that with all respect).

I hate telephones...seldom answer mine and make almost no outgoing calls. But yesterday and today, I've been calling Senators...not just Boxer (yeah, Barb!) and Feinstein (who hasn't committed thus far), but every other one whose phone got answered, including the GOPers. And, of course, e-mailed everyone for whom I could get an address or online contact form, regardless of party.
I figure no GOPer will support a censure motion, but I thought it might give them some sleepless nights between now and the elections to know how thoroughly many Americans detest "their leader".
And what the heck, I'm retired -- my only "career" now is being as big a pain in the butt as I can manage to our elected representatives.
I haven't given up on Feinstein...more phone calls and e-mails in the offing!!!!
Hugs to Barbara Boxer. The first political act (besides voting) that I ever took was to email her after she, alone (in the Senate), stood up to support the challenge to the Ohio vote.
Feinstein will come around with more pressure. Everyone in California call her twice! Call both the CA (415) 393-0707 and Washington (202) 224-3841 offices.
Hell, even if you aren't in CA, call her and give them a CA zip code! 95125 is a good one, right in the middle of San Jose, a city of 800,000.

Not for nothing, but I made some senate calls and emails too today (Clinton, Lautenberg, Menendez, Obama, Schumer, and, in praise and support, hero Feinstein).
It feels good to have done that and maybe, who knows?, I added to someone's tipping.
What is WRONG with the Democrats? Not these few, but the majority. Jesus, murphy, grow some balls dems. Maybe they secretly like what GW is doing, who knows.

I'm beginning to think that maybe most democratic senators aren't scared of W, rather they are complacent. Most of them are millionaires and those few who aren't have a good salary, great benefits and a large staff of people who handle the mundane day to day stuff. Besides, who wouldn't want to be president when W has changed the office making it an imperial dictatorship? That's a world of power. We need to get the republicans out of power and then (or at the same time, Sen. Lieberman) cull the current herd of democratic politicians and replace them with true democrats. Going to take time, but it will be well worth it.
I just returned a request for $$ to Hillary with the message:"You'll get money when you support the censure of Bush, and call for us to get out of Iraq". I then sealed the self addressed envelop and put it right into the mailbox.
I'm going to keep myself on their mailing lists, and continue to return their requests with as many messages as I can fit onto the forms they send out.

Exactly....there is no incentive for them to stick their necks out.
The only way to get them to do their jobs is to convince them that they might lose their jobs.
