I am not a fan of fur, but having spent a couple of weeks up north (Baltimore) during Xmas a while back, I can see the merits of it. Down here in Houston, it's a joke to buy one (even if some old guard women in this town think it's a status symbol) - you spend more on storage fees since we only get a couple of days to really 'almost' justify having one. That's why when the temps dip below 70, the minks come flying out of the fur vaults.
