I took a TotB course last year with a Dominican Priest, following a Christ West guideline. One of the first things Fr Dom emphasised was this:

Christian, know your dignity. (Pope Leo)

This Dignity comes from the fact that we were made in His image (stated in the CCC).

And I clearly remember him teaching that marriage was a union between man and wife, in completion, becoming a trinity with the birth of a child and how this love and this special bond was a glimpse into the unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the connection that we will one day share with them.

Still, I would love to do another TotB course, I'm sure there will always be many more questions.

P.S. you have a wonderfully deep knowledge of the Faith! I wish I knew more about my Catholic Faith so I could defend it and show others why what I believe is right!
