I know what it's like to invite people to things and have them either (or both oddly enough) not show up or be entertained. Most recently the friend that I asked to be my "date" (really just so I wouldn't go alone) for my friend's wedding this weekend backed out on me this morning...and here's her excuse, "I have no excuse!" well, at least she was honest.
