I love shopping at The Bay when I go up to Canada! (I am about a three-four hour drive from Montana to Calgary..time difference depends on my lead foot vs. number of highway patrol officers passed) How fantastic to have your design made and displayed like that! Will there be more at the other Bay stores, or is it a one of a kind? I am a coat/jacket junkie..I love it!

I am very intriqued by your display at the Bay Vancouver. I am very familiar with the Canadian Designers area. I shop there quite frequently and I used to work for them years ago, in visual display. I still know the guy who does visual presentation on the third floor, so he may have dressed the manequin wearing your coat! It looks fabulous, by the way. What's the story behind how you ended up on display at the Bay? What is the coat made of, what is your label called, and does it come in any other colors? Thanks!
ahhh the story - the lady in charge of the Canadian By Design section of the Bay came to my school and asked our class to design coats for The Bay costumer...our theme was pirates and i was in a group of four...my coat along with 9 others got picked to go on display and also be sold if anyone wished to purchase them...so its one of a kind in one colour and one size!
i dont have a label yet but i plan on it...its going to be called - thirtyseven -

yea i live in vancouver! and i know where the block is...love that store...i dont have much design wise 'cause school has been pretty busy but when i do i will definitly let you know!
