i agree with dario. though i don't practice what i preach. i also share some of your obsessions, save the bangs, and most of the boys, though i do like thick rimmed glasses, and have been sporting a pair since 2000. laters

Lists are so such an old obsession.
My parents (and grandparents) always kept the heat turned so low when I lived at home also, (they still do of course) it drove me nuts. I guess Italian parents are cheap when it comes to heating homes because my parents are also Italian and my grandparents were (are) the cheapest of all people!.
Makes you think back to the days where blogs didn't all have comments.
Try having a mother with menopause. In the middle of the winter she has the windows open wide and in the summer all the windows are shut up tight. Good old hot/cold flashes.
