The neat thing about a room that's pink with white polka dots is that it's like you're living inside a giant pair of underpants.
I totally like the way your room looks right now.But since you've said it doesn't represent you, then I say go for it. And the colour scheme is totally crazy. Think about it, you'd have a food, or to be specific, a neopolitan icecream schemed room. Seeings as you like taking pictures of food, it makes perfect sense for you.
you could have different walls different colour. like if you want mainly vanilla... you could have an accent wall of chocolate, or of strawberry, or one each...
i think vanilla walls would be a bit boring for you smelly... but thats just me, i hate plain whiteish walls... but the brown white and pink will be great overall!

I think you should paint one wall that Neopolitan Argyle.
Now that would be an seizure waiting to happen.
i was actually thinking that...neopolitan argyle...i have a blanket that is that...but it would be too much work to put on my wall...and i would prob. get sick of it...
I have always wanted to paint my walls blue and put stars on it like the night sky. Unforunately we have always rented and I have always had blah white walls. "Egg shell white" 
I am an Artist and I think the Neopolitan color theme is awsome!
maybe you can try hanging thick picture frames on your wall that are pink and brown.. with black and white photos.
Or to break up your vanilla walls.. you could try putting a couple of thick vertical stripes of brown an pink near the corner of the wall. Just a thought!
