Can I just get some macaroni and gravy?

a good emo post eh?? i can't wait

Gravatar i remember that episode. we watched it in grade nine. i think i was the only person in my class who didn't know what degrassi was.

Gravatar i hear u on the alone time

Gravatar I love these pictures! Especially the second one!

Gravatar Oh my gawd great shots!!!

I'm a big fan of Kodak T-Max 100 ASA black & white film. Ilford also makes good b & w film.

Gravatar My last two days off of work have been filled with all sorts of running around and all sorts of busy things. I hate when it turns out like that. I need AT LEAST one day to just relax and take it easy and reset, if you will.

It's so hard to squeeze everything that one has to possibly get done in AND have time to chillax.

Gravatar Danielle,

I second Screetus. Kodak T-Max 100 is the film I'd use in daylight. ASA 400 for indoor snaps.

Also, (and I'm assuming you are printing your own pix here), I'd print on Ilford paper, either Fiber-based or RC, depending on the look you're after. Fiber will be more natural and soft, RC (resin coated) will be nice and crisp, and a little more commerical looking. I always favored RC.

Another nice trick is to use a color enlarger on B+W paper, that way you can crank up the magenta for contrastier prints...

Anyway, good luck.

A.

Gravatar while i can't help you out on the black and white film advice, i hope that everything goes well, and i hope you post the pics. aigh, and the alone time thing hits it for sure....if i don't get it, i turn into a social retard. actually, at my birthday parties when i was younger, i would often sneak away by myself somewhere, just to get away from the people.

Gravatar Yeah I'd go with the Tmax 100 if you want something that you can do either indoor or outdoor (adjust aperature settings accordingly).

And stop taking such pictures of yourself!! It makes me super sad that I'm not closer

Gravatar bracket shoot. use lens filters. use t max 400 too. I love that grain.

I liked to use kodak RC paper. Fiber is good if you're hand coloring. I liked ungraded paper and use filters but I used to do a lot of darkroom work so I used what was easiest for me and gave me the most options.

Too many programs have go to print processors. I love those pans and the smell of fix. I loved to manipulate during the print making process.

For beginners in the darkroom I would suggest kodak rc grade 3 paper.

Find your own path young Jedi. It's fun to experiment. No matter who you are a lot of negatives and paper end up in the garbage at the end of the day.

Sorry I went over time. I yield the floor.

Gravatar no camera advice - but I heart your pictures.

Gravatar Yeah, sorry to interrupt the camera nerd circle jerk, but can I see your vag?

Gravatar no...no you cant

Gravatar Ok.

They're lovely photos, I've just been so nice and pleasant the last few days, I had to be a jerklor.

Besides, I own that part of you anyhow.
