As I posted on another blog, I was mightily ticked when that twit Bill Graham scolded the Tories for not responding as fast as Britain, Italy, France, U.S. for getting citizens out. I noted that if we had a standing naval force in the Mediterranean and heavy-lift helicopters we would have done just that. Thanks to Liberals of Graham's ilk, we don't, so we couldn't.
Anon: I thought the exact same thing. If we had been in Iraq, we could have sent military choppers to fly the citizens out!
Peter, do we have any military choppers yet?
