It's "Minister of National Defence" in Canada, not "Minister of Defense [sic]". I hope it wasn't the arm he needs to strong-arm some of our NATO Allies into doing their bit.

You've still got it wrong - Defence has a 'c' in it not an 's'. We use the Oxford Dictionary in Canada, not Webster's - at least for the most part (see tire and tyre...). You shouldn't use Microsoft's spell checker!
