I read on a site called The Peevery (www.peevery.com) that singing the theme song from The Greatest American Hero is a surefire earworm cure, and yet something about it doesn't cause it to get stuck as a replacement. I haven't tried it myself, but thanks to my short attention span, I don't tend to get songs stuck in my head for very long. There's always something shiny to look at somewhere. :)
