My prediction: Bush will not finish out his term.
I mean, there's SO many investigations and scandals now we leftie blogs can barely keep up with all the sleaze, corruption, and lies.
I heard David Brooks on the News Hour Friday saying that this was a great speech, one of the best Bush had done. !!! did he see the same speech?
To me Bush doesn't look good on television, but then I never thought he looked good. But in listening to Brooks, a confirmed Kool Aid drinker, he spouts the correct words but his body language doesn't match the words coming out of his mouth. And of course, Bush's body language is screaming a message, I'm just not sure what it is (other than this is hard work).
Cee is right, but Cheney already runs everything, so Bush stepping down won't really change anything.
I'm fairly hopeful that Casino Jack will take everyone down with him.
Casino Jack is certainly going to help us clean House (of Representatives). We can start with ridding ourselves of John Doolittle. He's up to his eyebrows in every corruption scandal going (DeLay, Abramoff & Duke Cunningham's defense contractors...one of these ought to take him out.
