Once, when i attended the MOE interview for the position of a teacher, I was explaining why my hair was dyed. And the interviewer asked me why i was so defensive. And I was shocked, as i was trying to be transparent.

A few days later, the letter of acceptance came in. And I rejected the position due to that 1 comment from that interviewer. Now isn't that an irony? She made defensive by calling me "defensive"...i hate that word ever since...
