What I realised about Singapore is that the people there in general, especially the younger crowd tend to dress up and groom themselves more, hence the fact that they're not too ugly, or look good in other words.

Maybe NTU does have more better looking people, it's like Lim Kok Wing of Malaysia, people there are fab.

But there' one thing true about the Singaporean people, the women are hot, not beautiful, but hot, the men, well, they're not.

The Gay men, is the same as the women there, hot, but not beautiful.

Of course, it wouldn't be fair to me saying that there are of course real beautiful people there, I'm just saying in general $\"\"$

$\"Gravatar\"$ a few weeks back, i read the papers and some schools in singapore like NTU, NUS, even MDIS has banned some dressing like short shorts for girls and flip flops for anyone, is not allowed unless leg injury. even dyed hair is not allowed. it also states that SMU has no dress code, neither banning us students from wearing flip flops to class. being in the centralize area, i guess thats why SMU has better sense of fashion? afterall, its the centre of attraction. just saying my view here. $\"\"$

$\"Gravatar\"$ i think beauty is subjective... and your perspective changes as you grow older. when i was in NUS, i think the people who try too hard somehow appear \"ugly\" to me (even though some of them are really quite not bad actually w/o too much trying), cos i think beauty should come naturally. In fact, less is more.. i think being natural is a kind of beauty...i'm just happy i'm aging gracefully and not losing my looks or charm as I turn into the late 20s...hope you pple out there feel the same way!
