Hi David,
I couldn't agree more. I'd like to see some formal system for honoring more of the new-media products that are out there.
At the same time, I'd like to see someone tear down the barriers in the awards -- giving out a prize for, say, best editorial product, regardless of medium.

I actually suggested this to ABM's Digital Media Council two months ago, but seemingly everyone else thought that there were already too many online awards programs. I was disapointed to say the least.
