The Current, the official name of the the village. The oldest in the Bahamas, settled around 1647. Also the birthplace of Sir Roland Symonette.
The Current Club 'was' in the process of being rebuilt, with five cottages particially finished. Not uncommon in the Bahamas. Still a nice place to visit
