picture it...1982...a small frame vespa primavera appears in the window of the only motorbike shop in my home town...i've been working 'down t'pit' for a few months now and i can afford it...fast forward summer 1982...access to skinheads and scooter boys via my local scooter clubs involvement in monthly rally's all over the UK...tents, showers, drunken naked races on scooters up ridiculously steep mountains, ska, soul, punk... did i mention the big sideburns on the skinheads?
