sounds fab! I went to see the all male ballet of swan lake a few years ago. Breathtaking it was not!
It was, indeed, marvellous. The old git sitting next to me(in the front row of the First Circle) - no, not Dave, but a man on the other side of me - shouted "rubbish!" after Swamp, and he and his wife left, so unfortunately they missed the homo-eroticism of the Elsa Lancuesta piece.
He didn't seem to mind the insipent lesbianism on-show in the first piece of the evening, though, to which he made much rapturous applause.
Matthew Bourne's 'Swan Lake' is revived for the Christmas Season at Sadlers Wells, this year.
